Made my first 50 miler of the season
50 miler was good. My ass will probably hurt today if I repeat. My weight was high yesterday. I am not loosing. I exercise more - therefore I eat more. I have lost all self control.

Looking ahead to the reward?
Ahhh - project is out. I am going to go in and work a few hours. Nothing really on the books. I am scheduled for vacation all next week.
I am wound so tight, I am not sure that I can stand it.
I am thinking of taking the P-car in to work. I am thinking a swim would be good this morning followed by my run. A bicycle ride this afternoon will complete this trilogy.

Yesterday - one of my headache episodes
Yesterday - a headache - one of my migraines. I went too work with it and made it. That is the second time I made it. I don't know how, but I did. It blew away my exercise routine. So yesterday - nada. I have been eating more this week, so I guess I will not make any headway on my weight loss.

Porsche: 20% mine if you look specifically at the payments I made.
40% mine if you look at down payment and the payments I have made. But when you add in depreciation, I probably lost the down payment when I drove it off the lot.
Goal: to have it payed off this year. Or - mostly payed off with an easy to reach end in site. I gotta say that this is the best thing about having a crappy job. You can't have a lot of debt with a crappy job.
This week - Damien and Andre's birthday.
Next week: Me and wifie off too Jacksonville FL.
Now: Me, myself, and others to swim laps, stretch, crunches, and run.

Yesterday was an awesome day
Yesterday was awesome!
The day started with me meditating with my Mac. I love internet radio in the early morning hours in the still and quiet of the house.
When wifie gets up we have mind blowing sex. I'll skip the details othher than I had two orgasms. I then go for a 40 miler in the wind. The ride was awesome in the fact that the first part of the ride was against the wind and the ride was easy on the way back. That is the way that I really like it.
Wifie went to a bridal shower and I went to the gym's poll where I laid out in the sun for an hour. I burnt.
I then went and visited my dad who I haven't really been seeing too much lately because of work.
I had a snow ball at Sal's snowball stand.
Then I came back home and visited with wifie.

Weigh - in
Weighed in at 173. I rode 25 miles this morning. It was windy and kind of chillly with the wind. I wore a long sleeve shirt. Anyway - I went to get grandson his gifts at noon and then left work early. I cut the grass so I don't have to tomorrow. So tommorow I was thinking maybe lay out at the pool or ride long in the sun and heat.
I have gifts to wrap tonight and then I can mail off tomorrow.

Ahh! I will go get Damien's bday presents and then mail them out to him. That is a pretty nice thing to do today. There is sun in the forecast today on out through the weekend.

Yesterday I decided to just walk a couple of miles. I weighed in and was back up. I cannot take a day off. The cookies and pop tarts didn't help either.

Thoughts on whatever
Thoughts:
Wife and her illness: What can I say or do? I will try and make her as comfortable as I can.
Need to pay off the Porsche ASAP. My plan is working well. I should make 6 payments on Friday. This is going well.
OT at work: I have this under control. I have made so much OT so far this year thaat my yearly goal of 5 hours per week is really easy to make. I need 100 hours more over the course of 8 months. Piece of cake.
House: This has been neglected forever. I started back last weekend. I am thinking I can plug away at this slowly.
Fitness: I have been back at it for a few weeks and I am starting to see results. This will progress slowly. I will be patient.
Son's wedding: This is going to happen one way or another. I have somewhat figured out my financial obligations.
Financial Investments: We made lots of progress this year. We have to wait and see. It's really up to the market.
Yesterday I swam and ran. The achillies is bothering me. I only ran 1.25 miles.

More Surprise - 170lbs!
Yesterday I rode 35 miles. It took me 2 hours. I am ready for the ride to be over with two hours in the saddle. The scale read 170. I am pretty sure I will be in the 160's next week. Hopefully all week I will be in the 160's.
My goal: Stay consistently in the 160's for a week.
Next goal: Get to below 165. When I reach this goal, stay below 165 for a week.

Surprise - 172
I weighed myself in the middle of the day after I took a crap. I swam this morning and did my jog.
I cut the grass and I skipped my evening bike ride. I will ride 2 days this weekend.
I can't drive the Porsche because of love bugs.
So things are looking up. I am feeling better and things are getting consistent. My stress is being lowered by the workouts.
BTW - I did 2500 yards. which is much more than 2000 on Wed.

I rode my 25 miles yesterday. It is pretty fun. Today (weather permitting) I will swim, run, and ride. I haven't done that in many many moons.
Kinda feeling funny. The GCT is this weekend and I am not going. I gave up training this year for work. Now I am in crappy shape. I am having to work hard to overcome all of the momentum I have going in the wrong direction.
Anyway - no real reason to cry over spilled milk.

Swam 2000 yards
I counted my yards and did 2000 in less than an hour. I swam 3 sets of 500 - don't know if it was more boring or more difficult. Kinda both.
I did my 1/4 - 1/2 - 1/4 - 1/2 - 1/4 afterwords and I can feel my achilies.

174.4 lbs
Serious weight issues going on! I did not feel the extra weight - but the scale said it in plain red and black.
Rode my bike 25 miles yesterday morning and it was a pleasure.
Yesterday I brought the Z4 in and they refused to change the oil because it was less than one year. But the car is coming out of warranty. The change is going to have to be on my nickel.
When I was driving home the coolant level light came on. They did some service but not the oil.
This morning I am heading out to the gym.

First day back in the pool
Yesterday I started with a ez 500. It wasn't so easy. Then I did repeats of 100 yards swim and 50 kick. I did a 100 yard kick rep once. I think I must have did at least 2500 yards. My arms were fatigued. I did a 100 IM. My foot had a little pain from whatever is going on with it.
I loved the fatigued feeling that I experienced all day long. This mixed in with the chlorine aroma covering my body was exquisite.

I have completed a week
Lat week I was back at it. I rode in the early mornings. I walked and even made it back to the gym. This morning I am going to try and actually swim at the gym. We will see how that goes. I hate cool water in the morning.
Yesterday I had a wonderful time with wifie. We went to see the Vatican Mosiac exhibit. We had lunch in the quarter. I came home to wash the cars in a vacuum of heat. We ended up arguing over her not cooking.
She has a busy week and I am thinking it will be pretty busy for me also.
I made up a calender with all of my dates for the upcoming 3 months. I have birthdays to shop for and lots of other stuff.

Yessterday - I was 171
Yesterday I was at 171. I rode 30 miles. I averaged 18mph. I sweat like a pig. I ate my ass off after my ride. I have to learn how to have a nice workout and not eat after.
I had a nice day with wifie.
Today I will ride again and will probably have another awesome day with wifie.

Turning the corner
Finally made it back to the gym. I did a quick jog and worked out an hour. It was raining and I skipped my w/o in the morning. But, I got off work 1/2 day Friday so I went to the gym in the afternoon. It was pretty fun. Absence make the heart grow fonder. I didn't weigh myself. I will try and ride for 2 hours today and two hours tommorrow. I should be able to return to the gym everyday next week. I can feel the effects of the stress reduction already.

Completed my second ride
Yesterday - another good day. I got in another 25 mile ride. I think that I am ready to extend it out a little further. I don't think it will be long until I am riding back to the park. The park is a 3 hour ride. If I leave at 4am, I can be back at 7am. This gives me one hour to clean up and get back to work.
Mac update:
I just got my Microsoft access installed. I am moving towards just having one computer. Now I just have to figure out how to back up a system with multiple operating systems. And do I turn a computer into a server???
I paused and had everything working. Now my XP won't work????

Back fresh from my ride
I made my first ride in the dark. Riding in the dark can be cool, but you really gotta stay aware. There are walkers where I ride and you come up on them pretty quickly. The morning was cool and crisp. I took a pretty leisurely ride to Willliams boulevard (25 miles). I saw only one other cyclist and a couple of walkers. I had the road to myself. The smells were good. You can really smell the cars and polution on these crisp mornings.
I am listening to cool music and typing on my new Mac as wind down from an awesome ride. I could and feel as I should go to work, but I am making myself stay home until 7:45. I will make myself report to work at 8am.

Time for reflection. It is May 1st. I got the hard stuff behind me. I finished my work at the job. I am now pretty much demoted. Most people would be sad. It is awesome for me. I am working towards LESS responsibility. The joke is on them. I am better at doing there job than them. Anyway - enough about that....
Should I go back to the gym this morning? I think not. I am thinking I should ride my bike. I can do 1.5 hours and it would be probably pretty enjoyable.
Last year at this time I was getting ready for the GCT and the other 1/2IM in Orlando ( thee race where I hurt my achillies. Well, I am going to finally fix that foot, ankle or whatever.
